Heeeeeeeeere's another one!
So apart from sweets, I also like Toys. Well to be more specific, merchandise from the different shows that I love. And these would be mostly the TV series that have anything and everything to do with the occult. I'm sure you've heard of these shows if not equally love them as much as I do. These shows have grown their fan base over the years that they have been on-air and even after they've wrapped up their respective storylines. Shows like Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Supernatural, Stranger Things, Vampire Diaries, The Strain, and True Blood, just to name a few. Although some of these have gone off the air for some time, others are just about to start their own run this coming season. The perfect example would be my beloved, Supernatural, that is coming back this fall for its final run. Another show that I love dearly is headed for reboot central with an African-American lead but in the meantime, while waiting for that version managed to turn the head on its own mythology by coming back to comic book form via Boom Studios in all new and updated version. And that is Buffy The Vampire Slayer. While I have yet to get my hands on more Buffy goodies, the latest acquisition is one that I have added to my supernatural finds. And it is just one of the many merchandises associated with this show. It has thrilled us fans for 15 years. It has made us laugh and cry and question our own beliefs while providing top-notch quality entertainment.
We geeks are so grateful for Eric Kripke for conceptualizing and putting the show together and casting the brilliant Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as the Winchester brothers and of course the lovable, Misha Collins as my favorite Angel, Castiel. No show so far has touched so many and given back to so many. We have all been touched by the supernatural in one form or another. And this is just how we Geeks pay it back.
If you haven't tried watching the show, best to catch up now as the 15th and final season, which will only be consisting of only 20 episodes starts October 10, on the CW Network! Thanks for watching and I'll see you again!
