Toss a Podcast to your Witcher

If you've marathoned the first season of The Witcher on Netflix over the holidays, then probably like every other geek, you have or continue to sing the newest catchphrase, as sung by the Bard in the show.

"Toss a coin to your witcher, oh valley of plenty, oh valley of plenty."

But catchphrases (sung or not), are not the only thing that an avid fan of the show will be getting soon.

Lauren S. Hissrich, the showrunner has recently confirmed that while most fans are waiting for Season 2, they are providing fans tons of supplementary information by way of a podcast. This podcast will feature tons of cast, crew, and creatives on board, and will be made available on Netflix. Now, if the Stranger Things podcast is any basis, it would most probably be in 3 episode installments. These three behind the scene films will be hosted by Brandon Jenkins. He also hosted the "Dolamite" podcast devoted to the movie with the same name which stars Golden Globe nominee, Eddie Murphy. With that and previous hosting experience, he is certainly the man for the job.

Hissrich added that the podcast will also be available on PocketCasts, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher.

While the Netflix podcast should keep viewers happy and occupied while they wait for Season 2, hardcore fans have the series of books by Andrzej Sapkowski  - totaling 8 and beginning with Last Wish - to keep them company until 2021. Geeks also have the games either in Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 as well as the PC version to keep them happy and occupied.

Now, if that is not enough to tide you in till the next season and if you are purely an auditory person, there is another podcast called The Racking Focus Podcast.  The 1st installment of the podcast is now available for streaming via Spotify and is hosted by John and Josia and is aptly called Witcher Watch.

What are you waiting for? Quickly...toss a podcast to your Witcher.....oh Valley of Plenty...oh Valley of Plenty...
